Women’s Bible Studies
‘Jewels’ is an acronym for:
Jesus Encourages Women in Education, Love, and Service.
If you are a woman at the opportune stage of life when you are beyond raising children, then this ministry is for you! ‘Jewels’ meet together monthly for Christian growth, fellowship, and planning, with additional times for fun. We currently meet the 3rd Monday evening of each month, 7pm at the church offices, and would love to have you join us!
‘Jewels’ is a group of women associated with Crossroads Community Church whose purposes together are to:
- Encourage and support one another in Christian growth and Christian living, with the Lord as our center focus.
- Sponsor various events of CCC’s Women’s Ministries pertinent to the challenges in our lives.
- Reach-out in fellowship to other similar women at CCC.
The word ‘Jewels’ is descriptive of how we understand that Jesus views us all as His children, not because of who we are or what we have done, but out of His wonderful and gracious love for us. As we grow in Christian love and living, we seek the Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives in order to grow towards becoming precious and shining jewels to be examples of the love of Jesus.
Zechariah 9:16
The Lord their God will save them on that day as the flock of His people. They will sparkle in His land like jewels in a crown.
