Series Title: "Old Navy"
Sunday September 9 - September 16, 2007

Series synopsis: One of the most famous men in the history of mankind is Noah. You know, Noah and the big flood – the really big flood. It happened a long time ago, and yet it’s still around – think the recent movie “Evan Almighty.” Is this story for real? Could it really have happened? What must have been going through Noah’s mind to actually trust in God to build that big boat? One more thing: do you know what happened to Noah after the flood? Don’t miss this two part series studying the life of Noah in “Old Navy.”

September 9 "Anchors Aweigh"
You want me to do what? God, please, you’ve got to be kidding. Do you have any idea what they’re going to say about me; they’re going to think I’m crazy!” This is probably pretty close to what Noah must have been thinking, and saying, when God asked him to have trust, and faith, and build that boat. You might think that there’s not a lot of commonality between you and Noah, but guess what? There’s a lot more than you think. There’s going to be a time when God is going to ask you to build a boat. Will you be ready?

September 16 "Dry-dock"
We all know the story of Noah. What a guy; he actually did what God asked him to do, even when it did not make any sense at all. He built a big boat, and saved the world. What a guy! What a hero! Or was he? Do you know the story after the story? Seems Noah wasn’t as strong in his faith as we might believe. Even after his mighty act of faith, he still had the ability to make wrong decisions. Sound familiar? It should! Let’s find out the rest of the story of Noah’s life, and what we can learn from it!
